What did Billy do now? Ive watched him many a night up at Fast Fridays. Never ever fails to put on a show,if not winning still a show!
Crashed Aaron Fox in the main, got sent to the penalty line, refused to go to the penalty line, tore down the tapes, hopped over the wall, swearing on the mic, got into a fistfight in the stands, etc.
Well hell, one would guess that's why his overseas stint didnt go well. A modicum of dignity should be maintained, even in Speedway. Ive seen him do a double loopout while leading the Scratch Main at Auburn, barely even touched the ground on the first flip, nobody ran over him and they were CLOSE. Always spectacular.
Its great to see B.Hamil out riding and winning again! I watched the Janniro incident and yeah it was rough, its a tiny track, its the National Championship. He was on the inside and wasnt going to shutoff, the guy he took out was leaning as hard as he could on Billy and also wasnt going to shut off. Even he said it was just racing. Slightly different bounce and that bike would have been in the stands!!!! Lucky nobody got hurt.
yeah, i dont think it was that incident as much as it was what followed afterwards...... you think billy H would ever do that? how about mr hancock? machester? i dunno...... i love watching billy J ride, hes amazing, but that wasnt very sportsman like.
Ive seen Hancock pass guys at Auburn like he was riding an MX bike, they dont even know they're being passed till its over! He can pivot and turn and burn and be gone,he really deserved to get his second World Title, great guy and a great showman! Id love to go this Invitational race if it wasnt so far away, should be good racing.
The antics afterward are sorta like big time wrestling, its part of the show........to a point. Janirro has always been a bit of a maniac on the track, crowds have someone to boo or cheer for. Mike Faria was always a good showman, fun to watch and the fastest on some nights. When I raced flattrack him and his brother were both fast experts.
Goin to go check out the open practice today at San Bernardino. Weekend before the invitational, should be some good talent.
Agreed. All the short races would seem to appeal to the short time-spans of most of the US TV audience. And it's a definite hoot to watch...
Managed to buy my tickets yesterday, can't wait. I was expecting more GP regulars but it will be fun night regardless. D.
