This section down the oued (dry river bed) would be soooooo good to film/watch from the chopper... so many tightly bunched down the sandy/rock strewn river...

It would be like an AMA hare n Hound race... hope they catch it on camera... :clap

I get the feeling that MXmums offspring is out in front at the moment...

Are they going to ride the river to the end?

It's a fair bet... the finish ASS is in the bed of the same river...

From the NPO track description: "The sandy oued on many kilometers and technical track in the vegetation until the arrival."

A few more engines may go pop. Oued sand is like moving sand.

I thought that Stan Watt might have problems and tries to leave the stage, but I now see him turn back in a better direction, heading to CP2

Yes... and from the progression of SX sam and Barreda's icons... I think the Husky and HRC rev-limiters are not being spared too much... :huh

I was just gonna ask, is Cyril still opening the track? Or have the young guns caught up & passed?

edit: it looks like casteau is leading?

    Don't mind the HRC faithfull fella's... :lol3

There's actually a whole bunch of them down in Oz... called the XR cult... :D

They are of the belief that JC is the true messiah, sent from Baja to slay the haethens, and that HONDA in Japan have a secret stash of sleeved down XR 650's that they are bringing to Peru in January to kick eveyone's ass with...

This 450 CRF thing is just an elaborate deception to lull everyone else into a false sense of security. :rofl

They are taking the track North of the oued. Can't figure who is leading. Would say they are all on sight of each other on that front group.

The lead pack of 11 riders have literally gapped the rest of the field since leaving CP 2... :huh

I had to check my tracker menu (thought i had crossed some people off the list)... the gap was so big.

    Wha...??? :scratch

Could it be tinfoile hat stealth/irritrack mode since CP 2 (the last place I have him on the log)... but (if so) he is an (unbelievable) way ahead of the pack?
