    UPDATE 03/02/2021:
Stoves are SOLD OUT! It's been a great 2nd run of these. Thanks to everyone who purchased!

Lightweight Alcohol Camp Stove Kits are now available.
Hand made by me and my daughter as a fundraiser for my daughter's athletic travel & competition expenses (current member of the US Junior Whitewater Slalom Team). We made 8 more to give out as Christmas gifts to some friends and relatives, and 2 for my own use.
While this is not new technology, we have spent much time doing R&D developing this stove, standardizing its manufacturing method and learning its characteristics under various conditions.

    The kit includes:
Stove made from 25oz aluminum drinking bottle, mill-finished reflective aluminum wind screen, high-quality 4oz fuel bottle with safety cap, and user's manual.
For cold weather performance, a reflective heavy foil square, ground-insulating base, and kevlar external priming wick are also included.
Everything fits nicely into the 3mm-thick neoprene carry pouch, which has extra room for your cup or small cooking vessel (up to 4' diameter).
Available in 4 colors: Red, Blue, Green, Pewter.

    * Note: Our manufacturing process has been standardized to insure your stove meets our first-quality criteria. However, because they are assembled by hand, you may experience slight cosmetic variations from kit to kit. Also, due to unavoidable variations in the raw materials, the stoves may have small scratches and distortions, which do not interfere with their overall appearance or performance. All kits function 100% and will provide years of productive use.

Just measured the one I keep in my car. The diameter is 72mm, and the height is about 35-36mm.

    Howdy All,

Several kits went out yesterday, and my daughter emailed the folks who were in that bunch.
The rest should be able to go tomorrow, with maybe a straggler on Saturday. The bottle neck is trying to locate boxes/padded envelopes, and I'm still making wind screens as orders come in.

My daughter receives the emails and I also see them, but for orders past this point, if you can indicate your ADV username in the email, that will help me sift through who's who so nobody slips through the cracks.

    Thanks!

All stove orders so far have been filled, including the ones that came in yesterday and today!

I still have 18 left for sale, but could stretch that to 22. Green is in the shortest quantity with only 3 left.

Thanks Wes. You can either use the denatured alcohol you mentioned, or get methanol "dry gas" a.k.a "HEET". The Walmart brand is 98-cents for a 12-oz bottle. I like running the stove on methanol more than denatured alcohol as it has a cleaner flame that resembles natural gas. If you have a racing shop near you, you can get methanol for $3.50-$4.00 a gallon.

Hogasm: thanks for letting me know it arrived OK.

Here's a pic of my daughter at this year's US Nat'l Championships, where she shared the podium (3rd place) with an Olympian, and a US Senior Team member:

OMG - She looks intense ...... It's good for the kids to have a focus like that .... keeps them away from trouble (for me it was skiing). I'll pick up some HEET.

    Evy and Mark -

Received my stove today. It works great and it's a neat little pkg with everything fitting neatly into its neoprene pouch. It's going to live in my car and make tea and warm my hands! Thanks again and good luck with the kayaking!
