This Thursday I'll be attending the premeir of Get Lost Baja edition at the Baghdad Theater in PDX... How often do you get to see a quality bike flic on the big screen... and get to eat and drink beer while you do? Can't miss it.

Though I must say... with the statement made above... the odds I would try to slip down there pretty much dried up. I am thinking there is a reason for that state hospital being further South

I was thinking Wetlands was closer to 9th or so, it was the Rooster for a while after the old Red Rooster on 6th burned down, then after it was the Rooster it was called something else, then opened as Wetlands. The old Red Rooster was about the last of it's kind in Eugene. Their old timey energy and spirit didn't make the move with them across the street. never have I been there .

Another suggestion would be the new, New Day Bakery cum Somebody Johns, which has moved up Blair from the intersection with Van Buren to the North side of the alleyway between Fourth and Fifth on Blair. They sell microbrews now, plus their food prices and selection of baked goods is awesome.

But I'm biased 'cause we used to live just across the street from Bill's. I miss the scones and turnovers, and that neighborhood.

I'll have to check them out ......

6 in all three of us showed up on our adventure machines and braved the night 1 bmw 1tigar 1KLR 2 cars...The funny thing is I dont have a clue to who any one is name wise . we all had a nice time the drinks were wet the for was good and the service was slow......but it was a good time and new friends for sure....just wish I was better with names.........

I agree,, the service,, we could have been assembling a 'new cooler submarine' over there at our table, and all we would need do is flood the fuggin place with water before anyone would notice!,,but then,, move all them tables to one side, and you could have yer Tech day in there out of the weather!,,and the staff would never notice!,,works both ways,, good to meet you,, I think,,:huh
