OK, the nationals are done with... What you got to say about next year's supercross season? Oh yeah, and the Monster Million Cup or whatever it's called? Have at it, boys (and girls)
Feh,Supercross basically sucks,the "NASCAR"of motorcycle racing.Its not who will win,but who will not get injured.I'll watch it,because I hate football,but I cant wait for outdoors.JMHO.
it looks like the current old guard may finally be faced with reality. I didn't like when Hannah came along and started beating my hero's Weinert, Gary Jone's, and all the rest of them. The cycle continues..If Barcia and Dean Wilson are on 450's somethings got to give. Assuming Reed, Stewart, Dungey, Villopotto, Windham, and Canard are running good, there already isn't enough room in the top 5. As much as I hate to say it (don't like him) Barcia (and Wilson) are going to make the current pot boil over. How much longer can Windham defy time and age? This truly is now or never for Reed/Stewart. Somethings got to give. You really can't even look at top 5, maybe 8 is a better number. Can Nicoletti get up in there? If Weimer up's his game he'll crowd the room also. If I had to pick right now I'd pick......
The larger the top group becomes, the more it plays to RD. Mr. Consistent, always in the top 5. The rest will win, dnf, or injure themselves and miss a few rounds.
My brother and I were talking about the new season Saturday. I said we HAVE to make the Monster Cup because it's the first race of the season and no one is injured. :)
'Poto,Reed and Dungey are the obvious guys to watch. I think Rattray,Tickle and Barcia will be occasional spoilers. Wilson? Dunno he's been hot and cold lately. Sadly I think Stewart is done. Too much time off the bike and out of the game has passed. 250's going to be a crapshoot.
I nat,(Redbud)0 supers since Pontiac was done.Whats your point?I still watch them. Hmmm Lets see,who was injured last year in SX,Canard,Reed,Stewart,Dungey,Villopoto,Wilson,Milsaps,on and on.
good point. the top 5 COULD be 10 guys easy. Villopotto Reed Stewart Dungey Canard Windham Barcia Weimer Millsapps and an easy 5 more guys fighting for the 10th spot in the top 5. Nicoletti? Metcalfe? Tickle? Izzi? Short? Grant? maybe Jason Lawrence will make a comeback? oser
Of that list Barcia is the only one possible to break into the top five. Millsapps and Weimer we know can't match their pace, Windam can get close on a good day but at best he's a 6th place. All those other guys are proven fade to midpack riders. All that is assuming the fast five are all healthy. .

Chad Reed My Way Episode 1 Watching his crash again is painful. I hope they fixed his boot hooking issues. <object width="853" height="480"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8HmqZfqYosE?version=3&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8HmqZfqYosE?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="853" height="480" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
Reed was out racing at Dade City raceway down here in Florida on Sat. He was on a 2013 450 and looked pretty comfortable.
Very cool to hear. I always wonder about guy's mentalities coming back from injury. He's seasoned and has good perspective. Will Canard be timid and not push it or will he be desperate and go for wins? Will Stewart keep being Stewart or can Suzuki get him to calm it down a notch? Will RV be back to championship speed? Will DW be physically strong enough to bang with the 450s?
Uhh your memory is not to good.. Villopoto won last year and got hurt at the last race..Millsaps had the best year he has had in his career.. There was more injuries then I have ever seen but that got to do a lot of things...Stewart does not count he is always hurt..hahaha. comparing to Supercross to Nascar though..?....come on...
My memory is excellent, you said Villopoto got injured at the last race, was that a Supercross or does my memory fail me?
I read that Phil didn't have a ride yet. Definately going to be interesting; lots of really good riders this year. If they all stay healthly it will be great racing. Dungey Villapoto Reed Barcia Canard Stewart Wilson Tickle Weimer Brayton Windham Short ... and the dark horse; Bobby K. If he gets a ride. Whoever compared supercross to NASCAR... STFU.
