Looks like Cannell Trail (33E32) up on the Kern Plateau, north of Big Meadow, heading towards Sherman Pass.
Great trail Not noob friendly

Ok all you NooBs that paid, but didn't make it to DV. OR you were there and somehow didn't get the fine crystal drinkware that was made available to us

I have a few glasses left that I can ship out to you... I've sent a few and it ran $15 to pack and ship them.... If it's worth it to you to commemorate this fine event, PM me..

This is the first call, so if you already have a glass, lets let the unfortunates get their chance. Again, if you didn't make the Rally or missed them at the Rally it's first PM, first served.

Are you using a HDR Look plug in/software or is it just LR or PS work?

I used Snap-sead (an Apple App) slight change's - I am not sure what HDR, LR or PS is - sorry. I took 3 cameras with me GO PRO 3 (Black), iPhone 5 ? newest one, and a cheap Olympus point and shoot.

 Sorry I should have been more specific. HDR is High Dynamic Range - meaning that you take multiple exposers of the same composition and layer them picking the best exposer for that given part of the image. Advancements of software/cameras have made it possible to simulate the look of the process in recent years. I was just interested in your process.

LR is Light room a archiving/editing program
and PS is Photoshop.

It's cool to see what can be done with a point and shoot in the right hands these days, good work dude.

Yup, you can do a lot with a decent photo with some slight changes.

Personally I'm not a fan of most HDR as it's usually way overdone and looks too fake. The way these photos are processed makes them look like old film shots.

One question - Are you taking still frames from the GP video or do you push a snapshot button? If so does the video keep recording?

I really want a GoPro Black or three.

Did mine last Saturday with TurboTax. Or at least finished entering all the biz expenses and charity crap. Electronic filing...$300 refund combining state and fed. Then I needed a drink....I was fried. But they're done.
