HELP!! Needed in the GP NF Randal

Need a replacement '99 xr400 kick start lever

Today was day one of my pre-wedding bachelor party Dirt-bike ride that ended short after two hours of ridding when I kicked the kickstart lever in half after stalling out on a switch back ;(

We have a friend coming down tomorrow morning to join us from Seattle if anyone between here and there could help us with a used one so we can finish this ride
Thanks

Have your friends cross check parts and find you something that will work. Buy it at one of the dealerships between Seattle and GPNF.

I'll be working in Everett tomorrow and plan on being back in the Seattle area around noon. I won't be in the Randle area until Friday (Thursday night if I'm lucky). It might be faster for your friend to pick up the part but let me know if I can help.

I'm glad you've got it sorted out. It's funny thought, my buddy was up there two weeks ago and broke his kick starter in half as well.
I hope you guys are having a blast up there. I plan on making it to GP in early September.

I sure won't miss Juniper this time around. Last year we made the misstate of inviting a friend that was not quite ready for all that GP had to offer. We basically all had to take turns riding his bike as he walk.
Here's a link to that ride report.

I'm glad you all had fun and nobody got hurt.

Did you get any pictures out there? If you post up a ride report please let me know.

I was telling a bud about some of the side hill, exposed get offs up GP that I rode.

He said he knew exactly where I are talking about and pulled up his shirt sleeve to show me his goose bumps just thinking about it.

This was a very seasoned rider too !
