OBCDR Teaser

Hi Guys.

Here are some teaser pics from our OBCDR ride Aug 9th thru the 16th.
The ride started off with me hitting a deer on the first day outside of Summer Lake then ridding the rest of the 1,100 miles with a fractured thumb.
Lucky though as I hit it at 60 and killed it almost instantly and was able to keep it on 2 wheels. Was it my ninja fast reflexes, super hero strength or just total and complete luck, ill never know!
Full write up, lots of pics and video to come

Where is the cabin in the first pic? I'd sure like to go there.

That cabin is a family cabin (not for rent) from one of our group.
It's crazy cool and was a great place to relax half way through our trip.

Detroit lake was beautiful Sat!
We stopped by the lake for a quick break after riding over from Prinville that morning.
From there we hit Olallie lake for a while before finally heading home.
1,255 miles total and a great time was had by all!

It's the cabin in the second pic I'd prefer to stay at. Great view, gives me the peaceful solitude feeling from here.

Great pics by the way.

Great pics by the way.
That place would be a sweet spot to stay the night!
Not sure the name but should be easy enough to find with a little digging.
It sits on the ridge to the west of summer lake in southern Oregon.
There was a forestry marker up there but can't remember the name?

Just off of NF-290. On NF-3119. Just above Summer lake.

For anyone who hasn’t done it, you really need to go check out nwscouts photography. And if enough people ask, maybe he will keep doing his blog. hthttp://nwphotoventures.blogspot.com/tp://
He does some amazing stuff.

Looks like you got some amazing photos!
We crossed paths with your group about half way through I believe. (I was the guy who had hit a deer too!)
We had a great time with those river crossings after we saw you guys, the advice your group gave us on the second river (the one farther south) was spot on.
Thanks.
