Anyone here have a honda C70 passport

I got an 81 passport. thing was cool. three speed transmission. did about 50 mph. took my roadtest on it!

I've got the exact same year, a red one. I bought it for my oldest daughter when she was ten. I put 22 miles on it one Saturday running around looking at yard sales. It's a bit small for me though. It won't do nearly 50 with me on it. Maybe 40 and that's pushing it. My youngest daughter is seven and she'll be riding it soon, not yet though.

It's amazing how much those little bikes sell for to the RV crowd. For one is decent shape you can easily get a grand if not $1200.

mines in a bit of rough shape. had to tape up the plastic around the handlebar cos it was cracked and the header pipe pops out of the exhaust manifold. Too much riding it in the field. I would hit a little over 50 if i was going downhill. lol

I can only get about 47mph out of mine but the my kid got 55 out of it.

here is a picture of it from 2002.

Ps that little thing tossed my kid about 10 feet in the air he was drawing a happy face with the rear wheel in the paddock and he highsided it.

I had one who wanted to race me the other day - I declined, knowing his 70cc would kick my 49cc ass.

not off the line but top end for sure off the line it would be close up to about 30mph.

mine is red. don't have any picks but a lot of memories on it.

Here's mine:

Tops out at around 40+mph. Have been restoring it for a few years now. Just got my motorcycle license a few weeks ago (after taking the MSF class) and my insurance kicks in in two days. Need to get it registered and inspected. It's lots of fun, I plan to attach my GPS and do some geocaching around town (north Austin TX).

I had one of those when I was 16 and couldn't afford a car yet. Like you its what I rode to get my motorcycle endorsement back then too. I almost failed the acceleration & braking test. I didn't get up enough speed before reaching the line the start braking.

i passed ok the first but im surprised i did. when i took the roadtest, it wasn't running at it's best. the needlevalve was sticking and flooding it out. it was also 35 degrees outside and spitting snow. My whole stragedy was to not start the passport till I had so i could get through the rode test. the problem was it hadn't warmed up when i went to do the manuevers and it stalled. The look at my face back then had to be priceless. the brownie didn't mark off for it and i was able to get throught the test without it flooding out. After the roadtest we decided not to load it on the truck and I decided to ride it. It went about two block before flooding out lol.

bought it last summer for $175, all it needed was a carb kit and a new spark plug really fun, me and my brother battle it off on the middle school track haha hes got a 1978 Honda Hobbit Pa-50 I with prima circuit exuast and big bore kit his is an 88cc now so its pretty evened out
