Sorry, white is not one of the color options. Thank you.

Kawasaki Versys

Hi Roger,

sorry if you have covered this but there is just too many pages to read. What do you have available for the Versys? Do I need to buy the Givi racks and you supply the adaptors and bags? Or do you now make brackets for the Versys? Looking on your website it appears the former is correct.

According to the Kawasaki Australia website you cannot use the Kawasaki branded Givi side bags and the top box together (I'd show you the links but the accessories part of the website is down), do you have any plans to make anything for the Versys?

Thanks for your time

Garry

HI Gary,

For the Versys, we offer Caribou cases that will attach to Hepco Becker, Givi Monokey, or SW Motech EVO side racks. I recommend the Hepco Becker because they are the best quality and most of the rack can be removed from the bike in a few minutes via 1/4-turn quick release fasteners. In fact, we have a set of Hepco Becker racks for the Versys here that were never mounted on a bike, they just have some scuffs from shop-wear, and we can offer a discount on this one set of racks (please call for details). Hepco Becker also makes a tail rack & rear top case for the Versys that we can supply, although currently our Caribou top case will not attach to the Hepco Becker tail rack (you'll ahve to get the Hepco Becker case).

Hope this helps. Thank you.

Forgive my ignorance here, but do the HB racks have consistent mounting points? The reason I ask is that I wish to put luggage on my 1989 Honda NX650, and HB makes saddlebag racks for it. If the mounting is the same on them all, would your Caribou/HB cases work?

Yes, our Caribou cases for HB racks will fit any bike with HB aftermarket racks. On older bikes the rear turn signals are typically on long stalks, so you may have to relocate or change them to aftermarket turn signals.

For the Tiger we offer a Caribou side luggage system (35L, 36L or 40L size case) that fits to Hepco Becker racks. You can get the whole kit (Caribou cases, H&B racks, and all hardware) from us. Please send us an email or call for pricing and availability.

Thank you.

Do you plan to develop anything for the g650 xcountry? I have an '09 w/welded passenger footpegs and am at a loss to find a compatible luggage system. Guess I need a bigger bike to tour with.

Sorry, no plans to make a system for the X-Country except for our ALS luggage for Hepco Becker, and unfortunately that HB rack does not fit the X-Country with the welded foot pegs.

Roger - quick question for you:

I used to have the Caribou cases and racks on my 2002 KLR 650 - which were awesome. When I sold the KLR, I kept the cases and racks. I just bought some racks for my 2003 F650GS and I was hoping to use the Caribou cases from the KLR to put on the F650GS--I heard there was some kind of retro fit kit that would help make this possible - do you have these? If so, do you have any pics? thanks.

My cases have the upside down "U" bracket on the back. When I place the cases on the racks currently, the locking mechanism's nylon bushing rubs up against the heat protector on the mufflers. Any thoughts?

No problem, you have to swap out the lower cleats on the back of the cases. Call or email and we can give you pricing. You can shave down the nylon nut a bit, or it will simply wear down with a little use. Thank you.
