Woooooo Hoooooo

Finally my KLX came into the shop this afternoon, I sat on the bike and had a chat to the mechanic about the seat height and adjusting suspension and stuff. He said for $30 we can have the seat foam cut out and you will fit it fine. Well that was good enough for me I went and got the money and paid for it. It should be ready for me tomorrow or Monday (its Friday evening here). do you think I'm you better believe it, just gotta sell the KLR now. Who wants to see some pix?
hmm only lets me upload 1 pic, how do u guys upload more than 1?

Nice Mav, Im glad for ya. Once you get a couple hundred miles on it, dont be afraid to rev the hell out of it. It runs good up there.

Oh by the way, you guys park your cars on the wrong side of the street in your neiborhood, do ya do that on purpose?

Randy.

Is anybody else noticing that Mav's exhaust exit hole is slightly larger than ours? Mine is 1/2"(13 mm) max. Mav's looks more like 3/4". Whats the dealio?

Here's a pic of ours, looks smaller to me.??????????
Compare this pic to Mav's in post #153 and see what'cha think.

Thanks,
Dave
I have a '96 KLR250 which I bought second hand and have owned it for about 2 years now, I have only just picked up my KLX250 today and have 23 km's of road riding on it, so this is a very small comparison but here goes.
The KLX is taller I had to have foam removed from the seat before I was game to ride it (I have short legs). The KLX feels lighter even though it is heavier. The suspension and brakes are so much better (I was never happy with the front brake on the KLR). I cannot really comment on the power cause so far I havn't gone over 5000 RPM however it feels a little quicker, could be just new V's old too.
My KLR has a folding rear brake pedal the KLX doesn't, KLR has a sump guard / bash plate KLX no, KLX has the little rack the KLR doesn't, KLX has the brush guards, KLR no.
Thats all I can think of just now (it's 2.45am!!)

I'm not seeing any pegs for a 2nd rider on the KLX250s. Wonder if those could be purchased aftermarket?
