Nice pics Navyman!

We spent most of the day today at a facility that has a Moto-X track and a Cross Country track all at one location and put some much needed time on the bikes. Here's a couple of pics from our day too.

I had a rough time with this(blood and all) because I wasn't smart enough to do it while I had the carb off. I removed the rubber boot between the carb and airbox, and covered the intake of the carb. I would highly recommend your method over trying to do it from the inside of the airbox. The extra 5 minutes to remove the carb would have saved 20, and some blood.

I have about 200 miles on the Muzzy. Love the hell out of it.

The rep at Muzzy said it would get quieter after the packing expanded in the can. I haven't noticed a real change in sound. If so, subtle and maybe more refined. After my first short ride, I was afraid it would lose some of the great sound. Hasn't yet, and it's not going to....................

Yea, its not too loud IMO. We've got about 2 hours on the system so far, I do have the quiet core also but we wont put it in unless we're at a location that requires it.

Gotta go, we're gonna go put some miles on the street bike this afternoon.

And no, she wont be riding dressed like this!

You must be in a much warmer part of the country if that shot is current - Brrr! Did you have any trouble bottoming the KLX on a jump now that you've lowered it?

Navyman when you get to the GreatNW be sure to PM me; there are plenty of hills around here we can find- I live just south of Olympia and drive to McChord.

does anyone have any pictures of the stock pipe drilled out? I'm thinking of going this route for now- thanks!

Sounds great Wedge. I am from Idaho originally so I love the NW. I am looking forward to putting in a few seriously fun rides before the snow flies - does the snow fly there? I've heard there are places in WA that it doesn't. I'll PM you as we get closer - I project July/August, but I will be on the Navy's schedule again so it might vary a bit.
