Garmin Topo Setup Without Disc
I have had no problems loading up my 24K Topo maps, where I have the original garmin CD. For 1 of my topos, I only have it copied and saved onto the harddrive on my old computer. I have created a mapset and transferred it to my 60CSX. Now I would like to get a disc backup (the computer where I have it, only had a CD burner and the file is 1.6 gb.). And I would like to get this topo loaded on my newer computer. I have tried copying from the old computer to a flash drive and then saving to the new computer--did not work. The new computer does not have an external optical drive. I have downloaded Mapsource, Basecamp and Map install onto this computer but I can't get the topo map to load and open in Mapsource.

So you are saying that you don't have the original source disks for some of the maps loaded onto your computer?

No Disc
Yep. I only have the Topo saved to the hard drive in an old laptop.
