Paul Rooney has an Acerbis rear tank and an integrated seat unit, it fit's Huskies or Katies however, Paul has modified them to fit BMs as well. This may well be a solution for your lack of range.

Paul is in the Phone book at Woodburn in NSW, McGraths Hill road I think, I know where it is, hence I don't know the address.

The Acerbis unit on the HPN bike is very expensive and not that much fuel, under 10litres off the top of my head. I looked at that avenue as well.

good luck

Thanks for the info.

Is Paul Rooney a business or private guy?

Curious as to why didn't you proceed?

Cheers

I have a 43l Acerbis tank, Pauls Acerbis rear is different to one on the HPN BMW, sorry for the confusion. More for a Husky or Katy. Should adapt to the TDM. Call him.

Damn! That looks fun.

I tried bolting a spare XLV750 front end to my CX650, but the triple clamp offset is all wrong ... the stanchions hit the tank and the steering lock is too small.

Is there quite enough can on that thing? Must sound like a postie bike

Also, is the rest of the bike enormous or are the forks as spindly as they look?
