Bay Area Rim Ride
There have been four official runnings of this spectacular 500 mile canyon run that circles the Bay and includes nearly every "must ride" twisty goat path along the way. The ride is intended as a single day event and takes every bit of strength and day light available to finish.
Here are the post addresses for what has been written: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4091 http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4540 http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18515 http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19575 http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52916 In the GPX file I've included the active track log and a saved track at 700 points and another at 500. Also included is the route file which is 100% acurate if calculated for shortest distance on a Garmin "autoroute" GPS with City Select 6 or 7. As a check the route distance should calc to 497 miles. If you get a different number, the route is off. Enjoy! |

Thanks, R-Dubb. Are all attachments now kosher, or just GPS/GPX files?
