This one's (the one below) like a safety strap. I have since had a re-think and elected to attach it to the clutch cable because the brake hose moves up and down too much with the forks.

Heres mine, Garmin Legend Cx with a ram mount and a ciggy lighter plug. I did have my eye on the 60 as well when I retired the old monochrome Legend, but I stuck with this one for portability, I use it for everthing from riding, hiking, canoe trips, snowmobile trips, etc. etc., I guess Im used to the screen size.
IMHO you cant go wrong with a Garmin, they have treated me well, through snow storms to laying in bilge water in the canoe, my old one is still serving its new owner well, my .02 centssup:

Cheers, Todd

I didn't know KLR's came in a yellow/black combo.

Garmin 276c with ram flat mount, short arm and ram cradle on my 950. I made a bracket underneath the dash that supports the flat mount, so it is bolted through the plastic dash to a more secure steel plate underneath.

A couple of rubber wrist bands for added security in rough terrain- I've had it on lots of very rough trails with jumps, etc. and it hasn't moved.

Of course if I would be in Morocco doing off road every day I would trust a RAM Mount more...

Mounted my handlebar reinforcement bar again last weekend, it has enough clearance for the GPS like this...

Upgraded to a RAM Mount now... seems very good!
