nope.

1000miles, then 10,000km (6200 miles) after

I had mine done at 600 miles purely due to schedule - I had a chance to get it in the shop at 600 miles and jumped on it.

Yep, same here. Wrench on dash almost agrees.

I just turned over 650 miles, I hope to see the wrench soon so I can get the first service out of the way.

You have just short of 200 more miles to go.

That sounds more believable - the base distance would always be a round value of Km.

Indeed it is. But miles isn't something the factory guys consider when coming up with the service schedules

First service on my '08 Norge was @ 600. I think that used to be pretty common for Guzzi and they have recently changed.

New to List

Hello All,
Just checked in. My first ADV bike has been purchased, new Stelvio NTX, and is on the way soon. Had to buy it out of state as I could not find one in my area. Having it shipped from Texas to Nebraska. Should be in late next week if all goes well. I am a long time Guzzi owner and just sold my 02 Vll Sport to help out with the new bike. I will be doing plenty of reading here to get better educated on the NTX. I rode a 2011 demo last year at the MGNOC National Rally in Eklader, Iowa. Fell totally in love. Been working on getting one ever since. Lucked out that the opportunity came when the NTX was availible with the larger fuel tank and all. I would have been happy with the bike I rode last year too but figured that since I was taking the plunge I may as well go for the gusto. Looking forward to taking part in the list.

Welcome to the sickness.

Ain't that the truth! I have to consciously avoid going to the nearest Guzzi dealer so I won't put myself in the situation of having a weak moment and picking up a V7!
