Really! I have an 02 EV1100, that from 5000rpm to rev limiter(approx. 7800) will stretch my arms about an inch. One of my favorite things is to snap the throttle open at about 5k and then hold on, not easy to do without a windscreen. what I like about the Guzzi is the engine, its addicting.

OK Guzzi USA, lets get some bikes on showroom floors. I have been calling around and looking for a dealer with one in stock. Guzzi USA does'nt even list the Stelv as a model thats available. I hope they don't do a SPIII or 1000S type market strategy where they are overpriced and unavailable until buyers go elswhere and then Guzzi panics and drops the prices so much that they don't show a profit. They then claim the American market just doesnt get Guzzi.

If anyone spots a Stelv in the flesh, sing out.

Guzzi USA never updates its website until the first of the year.

You'd think they would do it after the dealer's meeting, but that's not 'til the end of September.

The fact that most dealers don't have info on '09s is not surprising. Even if they do have info, they've got '07s and '08s they are trying to move.

The dealers that participate on the various web forums are good about relaying info.

MPH, Moto International, Speaker's come to mind first...

Traditionally, the Italians don't bring new models to the USA until the first of the year. That's been changing a bit over the past few years, but we've been spoiled by the likes of Harley-Davidson who have a dealer meeting in the middle of July, then new models on the floor the next week. Six months ahead of many other moto manufacturers.

I am having trouble uploading pics, but will continue to try.
here the dealer told me about 27 lt pannier for left side(exhaust) and 37 lt for right....your set is 45lt x2???

You were quoted for the standard Guzzi plastic panniers - he's talking about aftermarket alloy ones.

This is NOT the BMW. It is the Moto Guzzi. 1200 to go up against the big 1200GS. Looks good to me
