2009 Zaftig CalVin with "Italian Ices" Panners
The 02 Aprilia Futura is laid-up with a bad clutch slave cylinder (not to worry, she cleaned-up good with XXXXX steel wool and Berryman's Miracle B-12 Dissolve Anything Juice; now just waiting for parts) so I spent the day with the Zaftig CalVin (aka her wideness) mostly doing errands and motorbike shopping in nasty suburban traffic.
The nice white OEM panniers are $3K each list; when I discovered THAT, I bought some al-you-minium boxes from Happy Trails. That plus converting the final drive to 7:33 gearset makes this a superlative grocery/hardware/dogfood/motoroil/fertilizer getter. About the only gripe I have is with the OEM Metzler WanderTecs (and the tube-type wheels). I guess I gotta ride it a lot more and get me some Pirellis. Here she is: ![]() ![]() ![]() Since I'm one of those ATGATT fellows (including fluorescent lime yellow Scorpion helmet and fluorescent yellow jackets) I have it on good authority that it looks hilarious banking hard into a corner. Apparently the Shriners are considering a Group Buy to replace the mini-bikes. |

New Old-stock 2007 Breva 1100
Returning to riding after two-ish years of bicycling only, planning to ease in this fall and then do some two up with the lovely lady on back. My other main mount is a Titus Motolite for any mountain bikers here.
First post here, lotsa nice Guzzis on this thread. ![]() David B. |

David, here are a few links that will be of great help:
http://www.mgnoc.com/ http://wildguzzi.com/forum/ http://forum.guzzitech.com/forum.html In what part of the country do you live? Lots of Guzzi events out there. Campouts, lunch rides, etc...
