Best year IMO was the 78 LeMans 850,,,kept it until 83, then went for the 850 LM III,,,,hated the thing,,,,much regrett having sold the best for a pig,,,,,the 78 was a keeper fer sure,,,,de-linked brakes,,,reworked forks,,5 quart sump,,,lightened flywheel,,,Marrzochi GP shocks,,,Rita solid state ignition,,,and I had to install some air filters ! velocity stacks would suck in bugs,,,,

They're all fun in their own way, but my Sport 1100 is the one.

V7 Classic was close. V11 LeMans is a workhorse and very versatile. Turned 45,000 miles on the trip last week. '91 LeMans is cool. The Sport 1100 just has it all. For me, anyway...

If I could only have one, this would be it. It's got 30,000 miles on it, and has been in my garage since March 1997:
