I am strangely drawn to the Griso.............. damnit. I think the V7 Racer is a 'gateway' Moto Guzzi, I'm hooked and want more now.

My damn brother wearing his matching riding suit on my damn bike.

Kirb, are you using the same software for your NTX? If so, what is it and what wire/cable do you use?

TIA!

Could not get Ducatidiag to download (and therefore not upload) the Griso map, but was able to do the basics (TPS reset, metering, etc). I decided NOT to do the Rexxer setup due to the back and forth emails and cost. I would do a Rexxer, but only if someone figured out what worked in the power commander and sent that data to Rexxer to modify the map with proven data.

I picked up a Power Commander V that was Griso 1100 specific (they make a dual O2 stelvio version too) that has a map pre-loaded that tunes a stock bike. You are on your own for tuning a modified bike, but at least a dyno center can talk to a PCV and upload map changes in seconds.

I really wanted to rid the decel pop, so I did some math on the bottom end and ran some tests. Blog link: http://griso1100.blogspot.com/

Just met a guy who bought a Breva 850 yesterday.
He sucks too.

I love this thread.

I don't think you can get a 'regular' cast wheel griso in 2013 in the US. Not sure about 2012, but Guzzi USA only shows the black SE.

V7 Classic was close. V11 LeMans is a workhorse and very versatile. Turned 45,000 miles on the trip last week. '91 LeMans is cool. The Sport 1100 just has it all. For me, anyway...

If I could only have one, this would be it. It's got 30,000 miles on it, and has been in my garage since March 1997:
Stunning!

Want!

The guy that bought my 03 LeMans is selling it. I just bought an F6B so I can't buy it back. Bummer.

One thing wrong with the SE with wire wheels is it's so hard to get the air hose onto the valve. I tried to get a right angle valve fitted here in Canberra and the mechs tried for an hour but no joy. They didn't charge me which was great. I might take up Pete Roper's offer of his cast wheels (three spokes). Much easier.
The only other thing wrong with Griso's in general is the butt ugly exhaust, which will be replaced with a slip on.

Is there anyway to keep a passenger from sliding of the Griso seat?

Looks like you have some beautiful roads in Sweden. I may have to come there and ride someday. My great-grandparents immigrated to the USA from there many years ago.
