Xr Wheels
Quote:
The rear is a direct cross over. The front will work if it is a 1993+. 1992 and back have 15mm axle's, 1993+ up use a 17mm axle. Also the XR600 front wheel has 36 spokes as compared to the XRL's 32 spokes.

Bike doesn't turn over after top end install
So I replaced 3 rockers and re-installed the head but the bike doesn't turn over. When I replaced the top the motor was set to TDC as indicated in the sight window. We never doscnnected the carburetor nor anything carb related. My buddy thinks that the timing may be an issue. It was getting late so we closed shop. Any opnions on what to troubleshoot? Thanks.

the last round of reassembly I did I had my timing off by 20 degrees. It would barely start and ran extremely ragged and only with throttle position "just so". Would NOT idle. It's worth getting it right. You may have to go back in and start from there.
