Very nice... you had the linkage and motor mounts painted as well. Cool touch!

Wow OSG, neer heard of such an animal... It would be interesting to see what they actually offer as far as performance goes

I am curious as to whether it is a reworked stock unit or all new. I hope it is OEM quality

Thanks, I dont have the artistic ability to see in my head how something is going to turn out. I get more of a rough draft and make revisions as I go

It's about 12" above the headlight. I'm 5'11", with about 1" of foam removed from the seat, and the wind hits me around my helmet at highway speeds. But, it's not so bad that it bothers me.

Question Installing Lowering Link

Hi BRP think tank-
Any tips/suggestions for installing a XRonly lowering link? Doesn't look too complicated, but wanted to see what you folks think.

Raise bike onto a lift or a box. It is easier with the rear wheel removed as you'll be fighting it's weight or someone to help . Remove the 2 bolts and the link is off. Installation is the reverse. Grease everything. The bolts get tightened to 33 lbs IIRC.

Lowering Link

When I did mine I left the rear wheel on. Put the bike on a hydraulic lift so that I could adjust the angle of the swing arm by using the lift. Very easy to do alone.

I think thats gonna be a matter of opinion as each has its pros and cons.

3 gallon for the simple 1 item choice

1 gallon allowing you to take only as much as needed. if you drop the bike maybe only puncturing one vs all 3 etc etc etc
