CRF rim strength?
Are any of you guys who are running CRF forks also running the OEM CRF wheel? I have a CRF450R front end and the rim is about 3/8" narrower than the XRL rim even though the number stamped on the rim is the same for some reason (1.6 I think). Will this rim hold up under the XRL on rocks and stuff?
Thanks and Happy New Year!! |

Kinda , sorta , not really , ........ I have 2 frames , the 1 your talking about and another , I am gonna put 1 together sooner or later so I will be sending 1 , another inmate asked me about a frame and was looking for an older year model 1 that would work for him , still gotta go see what year it is and let him no , if it wont work for him , I will let you know , actually , I'm still waiting on the title for this frame also , so until then its worthless .

thanks, the tank is a result of putting a tear in my valdez, and the XRL seat wouldn't work with that tank because it's off a 600 and something just wasn't right. The rear fender is off one of the 600's also.
