L is really hard starting. Turns over for quite a while prior to firing. When it finally fires have to hold down on the starter to fire it up. Any ideas? Once running, it's fine and fires right up after it's warm.

Off to the next town to find a voltmeter.

Lance

Yeah man, there's the main fuse in there somewhere too, I think it's behind the ones you already checked... I haven't had my electronics in there for years.... I like the idea of checking grounds too, and FWIW have you gone through any water or dropped the bike recently?

Did you get it running (right) yet?

Maybe you're choking it too much, or your carb might be dirty. Has the bike sat with gas in the carb for a while?

Thanks for the help, folks. Back on the trail now. Never really found a smoking gun, but pulled apart a bunch of connections, cleaned them up, and put them back together, checked the engine and frame grounds, and fired it back up. I got 14+ volts, so she's charging again. Hopefully this isn't one of those intermittent faults that bites me in the ass later today. I plan to stick to the easier trails since they get more traffic in case it recurs.

Thanks again,
Lance

Question GPX Files

If I have a GPX file with the track of our ride, how do I share it in the ride report?
