May be I am reading too much into the jetting deal but I did all the Dave's mods and they even worked fine at 13000ft in Colorado. Put on an FMF Q4 an bike starts at half choke cold better response everywhere no hesitation on accel or popping on decell. Got bigger jets and was going to put them in but I almost hate to mess with it. Haven't checked the plug yet. What say you.?

Ceramic coating = Thermal barrier coating = keeps heat in.

This particular color , Bright ,

the pipe is bead blasted , sprayed with powder , baked in an oven , then put in a polisher ,

my understanding is all other colors dont have to be Tumble polished ,

The coating is suppose to be very durable and long lasting , time will tell

There are other colors available , Black , gray , silvers , gold , etc . most are a Matte finish.

I'm running a baja designs (Tecate I think the model is) hid light on my XR

whats the best smallish adv type screen to knock the wind off a bit?

Does touratech make one?

ALWAYS check plug. Each bike is different. There is no Sliver Bullet when it comes to jetting a carb. Once you find a good set up, you should ALWAYS try smaller and bigger to learn if there is a BETTER set up.
At 13k alt. my bike would be a little rich with a 50 pilot and 142 main.

I was curious about those running windscreens. Do you get the feeling you might end up smacking your head on the top of the windscreen? I've been wanting to add something to my stock bike, but aren't sure which way to go.

Before I got risers that would happen to me because I leaning so far forward.

I'm gonna check it. Gotta get a spark plug socket that will fit first.

Does anyone have one of these and an OEM stock muffler that you could take a picture of side by side. I'm interested in the pipe bend.

Or if you had a side shot like this one.
