Those look great, I was wondering what bend you went with, seems there are a few choices.

i honestly don't remember (henry/reed), but in looking at ordering another set just b/c they are so cheap, i would personally go with the kx/suzuki setup, based on the numbers.

Hey, Walter, a question for you on this thread.

I run the Gerbings G3 heated gloves (27W) directly from the battery, without a switch. (I did the Spud battery relocation, and the cable from the battery runs under my seat to the left side, just under where I sit.) The problem is this: Sometimes, when I connect the gloves to the Gerbings harness, the fuse blows. I think that the connector sparks, blowing the fuse.

Sure, I could connect the gloves to the harness in my jacket, then the harness in my jacket to the cable to the battery, all before I start the bike--but this is not practical, especially when I want to connect/disconnect the gloves while riding.

Any advice for a solution?? Thanks,

PD

Thanks for the link.

I just ordered McGrath/Stewart bars(CR high according to Easton's site), bar mounts for aftermarket billet triples and crosbar pad for $30.00 package price. Sweet!!!

Got 2 pairs of Answer pillow top grips for $6.50 each too. I added in some bar inserts and got the free shipping too.

Thanks again.

Where did you get the hand guard mounts from???

I went back and ordered some KTM/Suzuki bend bars with the same mounts and pad. They waived the shipping fee on this $30.00 order since they couldn't add it to the other order(already pulled for shipping).

I figured I would get a second bend to try at that price. The rest is spare parts...

It works best to compare thier bar specs with specs on Eastons site.

If you are going to bypass the safeties permanently do as someone else suggested and tap into the ground up front. I didn't want to leave the bypass in place and splice wires. That's why I just ran it to the ground under the seat.

I thought we could just twist the wires together at the clutch perch and kickstand and ride the batch.
