I'm using them. Installed them about 600 miles ago. So far on dirt, gravel and pavement they are great. No complaints at all. No word on mud yet as there is nothing resembling moisture around here. No appreciable signs of wear.

They look very close to the D606s.

Looks like someone else ( that isn't a brand new member) is offering a risk free PDF version though. Wish I had seen that before I spent an hour scouring the web.

Honda didnt do a very good job with the 650L service manual. I have the Honda service manual for my NX 250 , and it has step by step dissassembly instructions with a photograph for damn near every step , the XR manual is lacking that.

im poor so i have to modify and switch one bike.i get it all done then i get tired of it after awhile so i change it up so i think i have a new bike!

Honda should definitely hire kubiak to design the all new super-duty XRL Adventure bike.

Absolutely LOVE the tank and the aux tank - all it needs is a rally style fairing and it's a GS killer!!!

As long as he is cool with FI, water cooling, dropping 50 lbs, modern suspension, 50+ HP, all-day ergos, styling from this decade and a price tag under $6K I would agree.

did you see the pics of my bike after the winter project? After our email convo and deciding on the crf shrouds instead of the 97 cr shrouds you went with...it turned out pretty good.

It does sound like the XRr... However, a few of the things I like ARE the air cooling, carburetor, big seat, and with the CRF forks and Ohlins, I am pretty satisfied with the ergos, comfort and reliability. Dropping 50 lbs, a 6th gear and a beefed up subframe would make me happy.
