I am soldering l.e.ds in a custom mount for my tail light right now acerbis light was a little dim for me. Soon as I figure out the resistors Ill post some pics.

I've been working on my supermoto project every night this week and I've been taking notes and pictures as I go. I'll post a full report after I take it for a test drive next week. Here is a picture of the complete mock-up.There are still several critical issues to resolve before the bike is rideable.

Looks pretty sweet!!! thats something I could see doing to mine if I had another bike for DSing. I hope your replacing the stock fender!

Hey, if you figure that out I'd like to hear how you did it. I have the Acebis DS tail light adn it looks cool, but never works..I've tried everything now its either
cut out the light socket and epoxy in a auto socket or make a custom LED for it. I'd like to do the LED thing!

Its even simpler than that, I called radio shack and got some leds that use 12 volts, I cut a wedge of plastic and drilled the holes for the lights in the soldered it all up and glued wedge shape in tail light and presto. BRIGHT light. Ill post pics tonight.

Thanks thats just the prototype, Ill spend this weekend drilling the holes straight and making it look even. I may add more bulbs for the brake light also. I am going to do the turn signals soon as I decide where to put them

Thanks. I plan to switch the bike back and forth from dirt trim to supermoto trim. Taking the XRL off the dirt permanently would be a real waste.

What, you don't like the fender?

Yes, of course I'm going to replace the fender. A bright red Cycra supermoto style front fender is on order.

The pipe and muffler are Big Gun Q series for the XRL.

Thanks, Dave. It's all show and no go at this point. There is a serious front rotor and caliper spacing problem that I hope to resolve this weekend. I'm also waiting on an odd size banjo bolt from Phillips-Lockhart for the caliper.

It'll be ready to chase that DRZ-SM soon.
