Hey Greg

If you want the mask off my 98 just say so.
I'd even trade for the red one.

I'm probably heading away from the stock set up.

Question Free Helmet

Anyone want this for the cost of shipping?

If not I'll probably throw it in the ADV/Baldy fund tomorrow.

<---Link to FM add for info (disregard selling price)

I got a brand new white one in a box, you can have the red one, I won't use it. I'll ship it as soon as your bike is back on a fuel and oil diet, love alone won't make it roll brother.

While plastic welding can be done, the cost of a quality kit is not worth it unless you have many parts to repair...

that's pretty much what I accomplished with my soldering iron and some color matched plastic dowel. It was tricky. Functional but not pretty.

Me too, but I'm keeping my stocker for now, in case John Q Law makes me go back before I can convert it over to a high/low beam light. The mountain I am looking at having to get over is possibly making a new shroud out of fiberglass since I haven't seen one for the XRL that goes with an 8 inch light.

The tank was thoroughly cleaned out. I even filtered the alcohol used to rinse the tank which was done several times.

Once I have something I like I'm probably going to make an Aramid (Carbon Fiber / Kevlar) Model with Clear Coat

I may make skins for my other panels too (decorative more than functional)

What kind of head light setup are you looking at going to? And by the way, that aramid would look SWEET!

I LOVE dual headlights (possible Asymmetric)

I've used that fabric before when I worked in a composites company. It is greener when it's in resin. I almost did a set for my Interceptor but sold it before I could.
The XRL is smaller and much more manageable.

Also thinking of embedding LEDs in the kit. Especially the tail section.

I'll draw some sketches this week.

How not small is your nugget?

Pick up an AFX DS

Cheap and (if it fits yer head) not a bad helmet.

I walked out of my local Honda shop with one new for $90.
I like it because I can use the shield or goggles
