This is the symbol of Tehran city.

You can see Greek policemen patroling on bmw f 800 gs, f 800 r, aprilia dorsoduro 750, yamaha xtx 660, honda transalp (both 650 and 800), kawasaki versys 650, yamaha tdm 900 and I 'm sure I'm forgetting some more...

ps: you stood lucky to be allowed to capture a pic of them, usually they don't appreciate it!

Ditto for me, though I was with 5B (a year later). Skopje was pretty. The drive there from Bondsteel was interesting. Sadly, I lost all my photos from over there.
