I went down to Birmingham Al. this weekend for the Mercedes Marathon and had the opportunity to meet some of Birmingham's finest. The temperature was around 28* at the start of the Marathon and only about 34* at the official finish, 6 hrs. later. These guys were at the front & the rear of the runners all day. First time I ever saw a Goldwing Police bike. The bikes were very sharp and they knew how to ride them.

You gotta wonder why they went with the Goldwing over the much more nimble ST1300P which comes factory prepped for police use.

When the dakar prologue was on at the beach near barcelona last year they were faster riding around the circuit on old Kawas with top boxes than 60% of the competitors (seriuosly).

Mauritius - Suzuki GSX750. They also have some Honda 750s that I never seemed to be able to get a shot of.
