Not to exciting, but still takes a lot of skill. This is a contest to see who can ride the slowest with out putting a foot down. It was surprisingly fun to watch.

A little off topic, but I caught these terrifying pursuit vehicles in Napoli, Italia.

I was there right after they got those. I saw them working I-35 south down around Moore, OK. One had an SUV pulled over, the other was under a bridge with a guy on top doing the Lidar/Radio thing.

So they were def used on the Interstates around OKC....

(Sorry, didn't have a camera with me that trip...)

Honda CD90 police bike, Japan.

Here is one I took about 7-8 years ago in Chiba, Japan. Defiantly not a pursuit bike. I have got a few more from Japan that I will have to find. AW

Wicked Policing in Italy.

Italian Carabinieri in Venice 2007.

Carabinieri in Turin, great guys, when they found out I was a cop they were even more friendly. Note the difference in size between a fit young Carabinieri officer and a plus sized American cop! This will be evident in a later picture!

Police station in Chioggia, near Venice. Oldest police station I have ever seen!

Couple more Carabinieri in Florence, the obligatory Fiat and a Landrover 110.

Municipal Police Bike in Florence.

Couple of Carabinieri in Florence, doing horsepower the old fashioned way. Note the two municipal police in the very crappy looking gumby helmets in the background. I really pity those guys, the handsome chap on the horse was pulling all the girls...the skinny one on the horse was doing better than the poor municipal guys too...

This is the long awaited comparison pic...well probably not so much, but here it is anyway. Me in front of a Carabinieri Fiat in Vicenza (near Venice). These are the mainstay of most Italian police. The Carabinieri also have a ton of the very sexy Alpha's as well...a pic of a Policia Di Stato Alpha is next.

This is a Policia Di Stato Alpha Romeo (147 I think, but I may be wrong). Very sexy cars, especially decked out in the Carabinieri livery...rather than the somewhat ugly baby blue of the Polizia Di Stato. Note the "great" Italian graffiti in the background. The next photo is of some of the best graffiti ever though, worth a look!

This was written on the wall outside the Academia museum in Florence. This is the place that Michaelangelo's statue of David is housed. I could not help but laugh my ass off. If for some reason you cant read it PM me and I will email you a copy.

Just some background if you are not familiar with the hierarchy of Police in Italy. The Carabinieri are military police and act as "federal police" all over Italy. They are well armed and are frequently seen with submachineguns and they tend to have higher powered cars than the others. They are the ones that everyone is familiar with for having the fantastic plumed hats. They also have a very nice looking badge (which happily one of them tossed my way).
Polizia Di Stato are the state police, also found all over Italy, they are the proper civil police in Italy. They, like the Carabinieri have great looking uniforms. They also have an absolutely beautiful badge (again the brotherhood hooked me up, I have one of theirs too).
Polizia Municipale are the city police. Sadly their role is that of an armed parking enforcement officer for the most part. Still a great bunch of guys to chat with.

Sorry for all the hyperlinks, but like a lot of noobs on this site the whole "insert photo here" thing has foiled me. I think these are all worth a look so have a click guys and girls.
Economic stimulus my ass...I am so far from economic stimulation its painful!
