My dream is to be like Flash, making n00bs tremble when they ask stupid questions on F650 and riding around the world on borrowed bikes!

Flash, man, yup that is some most excellent riding you have done. I REALLY want to ride the Dalton Hwy...will be a few years from now. I love that red tank bag! Never seen anything like that before. BTW, I gotta take a time out to thank you for the work you have done on those DVD's. Truely a large help in my wrenching!
Matty makes the coolest balloons. Someday I'll have to see them in person. |

Taken yesterday.
Is it a submarine? Is it a boat? Nope, it's Max taking a bypass. At least he thought he was... (that "ditch" in the background was the actual road) ![]() ![]() And this is where I came from.

SWEET MOTHER! Max, you have my respect! I thought the last place I got my 650 stuck was tough! It was nothing compared to that muck!

I sure hope BMW will bring on that HP1 thing pretty soon, because this sixfiddy is a heavy bitch....
By the way, it wasn't the first time I got myself into trouble yesterday. We were riding this rally training trip, roadbook and all. Only at 8 miles or so I missed an instruction on my roadbook. So I was off-course already. And then it happenen. The track was slimey muddy gras, and I felt my front tire squirming against the rounding of the track. You know you can hold this for only so and so long until you whoop right over. And I did! Straight into the barbed wire, front wheel into a ditch and I got thrown over the bars. There I was in the field. No one to help me (remember, I was off course), bike upside down in a ditch. Man I felt bad. Anyway, took my helmet off, opened my jacket and let the adrenalin fly away. How to get that piglet up again? I dragged my bike around until the front wheel was in that ditch so I could lift it up again. Finally got it up again and resumed my trip. Yep fellows, I have a lot to learn. That no matter which tires, molten mud on a frozen underground is really slippery for instance...

I've been told BMW is developing a single cylinder 650 "HP" bike. Rumour has it this bike will have somewhere around 60 horses and dry weight should stay below 150 kgs.
First pictures should be available Q4 2006, and the bike itself somewhere around 2007. |
