Jerry - I pointed the Noob Rally guys to a couple of your earlier posts in this forum with Death Valley roads/tracks/waypoints:

That is what I like about GPSXchange.com I can indenture all my files so people can find tracks in AREAS they are interested in, they don't have to remember key words or do search.

That is a totally different web site nothing to do with GPSXchange and you can not find my files there.

As always go to http://www.gpsxchange.com/
and you can find my track files by geographic area like Ridgecrest, Mammoth, etc.

Here is the DV route we took 2 weeks ago. This route was tracked with a Zumo 550 I bought from Fred. It is dirt most of the way, much of it rugged.

I am totally new to this, and need a little help. I am using a Garmin 60csx, and have mapsource down loaded. Do I just down load the "Download GPX" and "Download Google Earth"? I already have Google Earth on the computer. Then where do I look at the tracks to see how they fit on a map? I kind of need to get this thing figured out as we are going to DV the last of March and want to ride as much as we physically can. Any help would be appreciated.

Not to steal the thread, but can I get a "track" from that Google site?? Or does the track actually have to be posted? Or send me to a link that explains it. Thanks.

Yes there is a link to download at the bottom left side under the map, below the tags.

I just went to GPSXchange and You have 3 D V Tracks
They end in #'s
108
40
981

What is the correct Track you are referring to in this link, two look the same with a quick look, and the third one looks like a tour of the lower half of CA.
Thanks

If you go to my complete DV file on GPSXchange.com I have almost all tracks named with the road names.
