Parts

You can get parts from HD/Buell Dealers most time cheaper than fleabay.

HD will supply parts support till 2019.

Buy it, ride it, enjoy it.

BTW badweatherbikers.com is your friend for all things Buell

Buell Parts

Yeh you can get parts no problems at all. I just bought a set of brand new Showa forks complete and a complete new rear shocker unit and adjuster for my XT. All up under $1300 delivered. You would pay that for one leg on a Japper.

Go buy your Buell mate and you will never regret it.

Regards

Cool2 Time for some rain

Time for me to rain on the parade...

Everything said previous is true .. But You cannot be surprised when an out of stock situation shows up, Last summer my bike was sidelined for a month plus for a belt and rear pulley that were out of H-D stock, Now if ASB's computers had not put him out of business for a chunk of last summer , that may not have happened.

But to be balanced and fair ...

Last summer during the Beast in the East rally my Buell broke down at the start of the second leg. The dealer I was towed to. Dothan Harley Davidson and Buell had a certified Buell tech diagnose my failed cam sensor. It was is stock and I was on my merry way.

A balanced opinion

Since this is the XB picture thread, I have a picture from that day.

Sun coming up and I am trying to find an intermittent misfire, I could not find any reason for it, Ran it another 200 miles before it died.

I landed a pretty deft half-somersault into that grass. Luckily it was soft. Bike is dusty but unscratched.

Finally got dirty again

Photos thanks to my good buddy live2ridetahoe, who lured me onto this loose, steep, nasty 4x4 road up at Gold Lake in northern CA. And then raced ahead on his Triumph 800XC to get pics of the carnage.

It might be because that rear tire has a flat spot on the bottom part.
