Ken,I hope the bag obscuring your taillight did'nt cause you to get rearended.
Bross, the targets are 'ride-out bugsplats',the person at the end of the ride with the highest score buys the Teas or beers. I got the idea from a picture on here of a GS with one of these at a rally-don't know who it was but thank you for the idea. Luckily there are less deer over here for us to dodge although a mate of mine did survive a glancing blow with an adult Roedeer a few weeks ago on his BMW C1 (scooter with roof) on his way to work past Epping Forest (Northeast of London). ![]() Btw Eana is the name of the bike club I'm in (Saxon English for Enfield,Middlesex-where the club originated). |

When the new mini-cooper came out they sent some targets in a mailer, one for each mirror on the mini and even included a card of peel off stickers (much like can be found at aerostich) to represent your "kills" fighter plane style. http://www.aerostich.com/catalog/US/...s-p-16800.html
And a pic for the thread, got a little over confident riding around some grey marl (sp?) common term? nasty wet florida everglades sand, 1 step away from being concrete. Anyway, should have tried through the puddle but was just exploring a little and the edge of the puddle gave and instaSLIP. Now that that is out of the way, the fun starts. How many Ulys do you see. We had a good little adventure in West Virginia. The ride down the Gorge was interesting to say the least.

Actually, I was able to hop the bike up the bank on the right side of the "road", ride around the end of the log and hop down the bank on the other side. There was just enough room between the trees for the bars to fit. I was surprised that my Bridgestone BT021 did as well as it did.

that top box just looks up there in the picture. Didn't you have some extra lights on the front also? |

Hmm,
Ulyrat 'swims' a bit at speed sometimes,
I'm just a passenger along for the ride!I removed the extra lights to paint the mounting bar and await the arrival of the workshop manual (should have it soon hopefully,4-5 weeks is the average delivery time from the States aparently,£50 GBP from Hardley dealer-no cheaper to buy independantly due to shipping charges) so that I don't fry the electrics when I wire up the lights,LEDs (in rat on front mudgaurd) and hazard warning light system (from Hein Gericke m/c accesory catalogue/shop). I don't do much night riding at the moment so the poor standard lighting is not an issue, but come winter and the shorter days, I will need decent illumination. |

Here's a photo of the Uly at Windy Ridge at Mount St. Helens. Lots of great twisties on that road. Bought the 06 bike used about 3 months ago and put about 4000 miles on it. Sure is a blast to ride. Seems to be pretty good in the twisties and on logging roads. Hated the almost $600 bill
for the 10,000 tune-up. But a day on the twisties puts the smile back on a guys face.
