Well, FWIW, my fan is going south (and not to Kiwiland). For the first time I heard what sounded for all the world like dry ball bearing rattle in my fan. The dealer is required to make a determination that the failure is warranty before ordering, but they are nice enough about it. I need to ride by there, they need to hear the rattle, then they will order a replacement and schedule the time when it comes in. I figger I'd better get the jump on the supply chain hysteresis and get down there pretty soon.

The dealer said it is certainly a problem and Buell had better fix the design. No shell game, no this or that, truth straight up. Nice.

It's been nicely detail cleaned,tail tidy completes the whole bike.
