You poor guys....

I've been bitching about it ONLY being 48 here this coming weekend. You still have snow! Yikes!

Guess I'll put on my heated vest, turn on my heated grips, and go ride this weekend secure in the knowledge that I won't be running into snow or ice.

Have you considered moving somewhere warmer?
I left Tasmania mainly because you almost couldn't ride all year round.

Hi Chad,

48 degrees sounds great!

The snow is fast receding here in the frozen North but it is supposed to rain all week next week......

Soon it will be glorious riding weather...........

Keep the rubber side down.

I went riding today. Temps in the upper 40's. I didn't layer up enough and froze my keester off. I'm used to my old FJR. It was a portable heater and had a full fairing. I've gotta get used to bundling up when it's below 50 out.

yeah - tons warmer - South Island is like tassie - auckland is stuck on an isthmus in the middle of the Pacific. Much milder minimums and maximums than even Sydney.

Broad brush time but - Lowest it gets is 6c and hottest is 26c
Mid winter min and max can be the same number: 12c.
Ride all year round wit 1 layer of thermals.
I'll never use the 12v outlets on the XB12X

It rains often too - yet rarely for very long. It blows away quickly too.
Never snows.
Unlike my 3 years at Kingston and crossing Mt Nelson to work at Kemp & Denning - back when it was just a hardware store.
