jim, for me, at 5'8" it's working well. it takes a little edge off. but you should know that i'm in the minority in this opinion. more people seem to like the laminar lip.

i do take it off when it's raining so i can get a little more wind blowing the water off my visor and make do with a little more noise.

cyclegadgets sells the xm radio mount, attaches via RAM mount and has the platform for the antenna. I plan on mounting my Road2 on one but haven't done so yet.

They're ProTapers, on Ricardo Kuhn's (an inmate) mounts, and the positioning depends on where you put 'em. The angle and the reach can be adjusted quite a bit, and a different bar would be . . . well . . . different.
