Doing a quick search, Yokohama sells a tire called the Y372 and Tire Rack has them for $40/ea. I know most of them have blown up or rotted away, but I figured people with Suzuki Swifts and 1st-gen Geo Metros had to be able to get tires somewhere.

I picked up a HF trailer this past weekend, figured I'd share some pics.

It came in these two boxes. I was able to get this home in the back of my 93 jeep wrangler.

All of the big parts laid out.

The hardware

The front half assembled

The back half laying behind the front.

Axle, springs, and casters installed

Wheels on

All folded up. That is a yard stick laying on the floor for reference.

Never have folded mine up

Got tired of the castor assembly dragging so I pulled it off and chucked it

In the Northeast, I've found an appropriate 12" tire for spares at most trailer shops I've visited over the years.

If there is a Tractor Supply Company in your area, they will have a spare.

Speaking of which, my trailer is still in its box...

Nope. Those nyloc nuts killed my arm putting them all on. I'm going to watch them and see if they start to loosen up. If they do, Ill go back and put loctite on them. The nice thing is that when its folded up, you have access to the nuts on the underside of the trailer.

This is the perfect time to grease those wheel bearings liberally if you havent already.

My nyloc nuts are all still tight after thousands of miles of use, but the "L" brackets used to fold the trailer are starting to show cracks in them. I dont fold the trailer anymore and have removed the casters so it's not a worry for me.

I don't want another of those 2 1/2 wide tires though, I want a match to the 12 car tires I put on. I have several of the little tires around

Oh, my bad, 12 inch car tires? I take it back, go to the seediest junkyard/repair shop/farmyard, and buy/beg/borrow/steal something that fits. If you are lucky, you could find tires made after WWII.

That does sound like a good idea. I was thinking about putting on wider trailer tires than what come with it. But car tires would be even more robust.

Back when I put them on I could buy the tires at Walmart for like $14 each, I wish I bought 4 of them now. I think the only way to do it now is get 13 inch wheels and tires.
That will wait until the current tires are junk

Harbor Freight sells 12 in. spare tires and wheels, here. A perfect match with the trailer. BTW, I have one and bolted it to the trailer tongue.

MoterBiker has car tires and wheels, not trailer tires and wheels.

Check a junk yard, you might get lucky and find a few spares in trunks, might even get extra lucky and they happen to fit with the wheels they're mounted to.
