how to fix a puncture in tank

i am sure i am not the first so i punctured my acerbis plastic tank. it is a really small hole about the size of a pen tip. how do i fix it. thanks for the input and saving me some money

Seriously though,,you can get it plastic welded,,,not sure if that will cause cracking later though at that spot..

Here's 4 ideas:

- Call Clarke and ask them for a suggestion.

- Epoxy the hole with fuel proof epoxy, try to hit it from both sides if possible.

- Take some plastic shavings from another area of the tank and carefully melt (drip) it onto the hole or use a soldering iron to swirl it into the hole.

- JB weld (similar to the epoxy solution)

*** make shure it's totally clean ether way

Rough it up and put some 2 part Marine-Tex on it.

Fuel proof epoxy would be great, JB Weld perhaps. Either way, make sure the tank is empty and clean. Highly highly recommend several rinse cycles with the garden hose.
