Some of the bikes in these pics are in way deep. What kind of maintenance do you guys do after getting you bike out of the water? I'm guessing exhaust have to come off and airboxes/engines needed drained.
I'm curious too! A blonde just happens to be on a checkered flag Harley along a (apparently deep. . . ) creek bed.

I just stumbled into this thread. I think I understand the fascination with taking a bike into water (until you learn something about this 'test of manhood'.

I never go into any more water than necessary. If I'm fortunate, I'm lucky enough to see a rider go in ahead of me. When you go in, one of two things usually happen - you make it out, or you don't (or you make it out and the bike dies on the other side of the crossing/lake. . .)

And, I never really understood the photograpy angle - staging / posing for the camera in (like in this picture).

But it takes all kinds of folks . . .
