Crossing the Akatarawa River - North Island New Zealand

this one of me tentatively tackling this stream in the Wellington Province (Karapoti Forest) taken by my pal 'Postie'. I'm not an expert at these crossings - seems to me among other things it's good to stop and take a look before entering the water - try to judge the best line then look into the distance (the bank) rather than the front wheel.
