Reading this thread feels like someone's gripped my heart and started squeezing. Words fail.

This past week in Daytona I saw a group of Harley riders (duh), but one of them on a trike. Something looked a bit strange, so I took a 2nd look.

The guy on the trike had no legs.

Yet he had a huge smile on his face, happy to be enjoying the day and his bike. That one scene pretty much made the entire trip for me.

Good luck, Dale. I hope the surgery went well, and that you heal up better than even the most optimistic prognosis. Be tuff.

Me? I'm right now.

Oh man, I am so sorry to hear that. We will continue to keep you in our prayers. If there is anything else that you need let us know.
If you use Geico watch out. The buyout for my car was way below any objective figure (KBB, NADA, etc.). Also, I could not get in touch with anyone on the first try during a claim resolution.

Thoughts, prayers, well wishes - whatever psychic help you need, you got it.

Your courage is staggering. It's humbling. Anything you need, including finances, please don't hesitate to ask.

Good luck, Dale.

My Prayers are with you bro.

I am praying for you and want you to remember to cut yourself major slack during this life changing period. You didn't deserve this (nobody does)
and I can't imagine the pain you are going through now. Don't let yourself
get to far from those who love you and don't be afraid to lean on those who care for you. Nobody expects you to try to soldier on your own and suffer in silence. Please keep posting when you are able so we don't all lose
touch and can keep track of your recovery and cheer you on bro.
Remember that once you start to find some peace (it sounds like you are making progress) you will l be able to have a life filled with interesting
experiences, joy and yeah some laughs. I know that this sounds like big talk
coming from somebody who isn't in your shoes, but I know you can do this if you are patient with yourself and others trying to help you.
much love hearded your way.

Dale, this is my first post, have been lurking a long time. I saw this thread this am and want to wish you all the best. I am so impressed with the courage and composure that you are showing. May all the powers to be, whom ever they are, be watching over you and your family, and when you read these posts with all the offers of help, please take them up on their offers, because thru these people, you will possibly meet some one that will affect you and your family for the rest of yours and your families lives. You may also help some one in their healing process. Hard to believe now, but things happen for a reason. Stay strong and god bless, Bill
