Good Morning Dale!

I just watched the video (excellent, but it got a little blurry at the end). Great job! Your team got a lot accomplished in one day.

We're all thinking about you in the Adams house...

Mike

Yeah, and DaVinci was just a guy who threw some paint on a canvas.

To all who helped . Dale is in good hands.

besides, i'm getting titanium ~17lbs. easy liftin'.

also - i transfer to the car on my own, pop the wheels, and get it in back seat by myself.

You are awesome

Dale,

I read this forum all the time, but I never post.

I just wanted to let you know that although we have never met, I think about you all the time. Many a prayer has been sent your way.

You have a lot of people pulling for you, the old man has to listen to this one!

Carbon fiber chairs went away after some teething problems but they were (are) pretty. Mine was designed by one of the Trek carbon bike designers, or so the rumor goes.

Light chairs are nice...once you find the balance point they're pretty easy to toss in the car one-handed.

Since my "transfers" are easy -- I can do some weight-bearing for about half a minute -- I can use the Yakima bars on my jeep to do a sort of monkey-bar swing from the front seat to the back of the jeep holding on to the bars...hold on, throw the chair out, fall into it.

Haven't weighed my carbon-ti chair but it's pretty light..probably sub-20.

I've kept the Quickie 2, though--sometimes a side-by-side folder is great for travel. It's flexy but not a bad ride and very rugged.
