Dale, with the strength and positive attitude you have shown in so few words and so soon after the incident, I have no doubt you will make the absolute best of this horrible situation. You are what all men aspire to be. My thoughts are with you.

Dale,

I read your post this morning and it really shook me up. You've been in my thoughts all day and I'm envisioning nothing but positive outcomes for you from here on out.

I live pretty much on the other side of the country, but if there is anything you or your family needs don't hesitate to ask. I honestly look forward to meeting you someday and shaking the hand of a courageous brother.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I am uplifted by every word.

Surgery is today at 5pm, Norfolk General Hospital. From there its a few weeks of inpatient PT, then home. Then court, then work, then new baby (coming August 5th) so i've got lots a lots of good and lots of scary to still face up to over the next few months.
If ya'll don't mind I'd like to blog my experiences here, despite my low post count, I've been with you folks for years and feel like this is my window into a culture and group of people that have, and can continue, to lift my spirit.

Always,
Dale

Man, like so many others I am not sure what to say other than chin up and look towards the future. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Wink Prayers for Dale

Dale - so sorry to hear of your accident - what a brave attitude - an inspiration to the rest of us in the motorcycling fraternity.

Your circumstance brings to mind the phrase ".... there but for the Grace of God go I". You certainly have my prayer that your rehabilitation and life beyond this accident will be the best that is possible under the circumstance.

May God comfort you and those you love in this time of drastic adjustment to your changed life experience. Blessings Aslan aka Stephen O

I'd be pleased to continue to pray for you
