I doubt I'd stop even is someone flashed a badge at 50mph. I want to see a marked car with lights on.

Based on the revelation of all the NYPD moto-thugs participating in the Range Rover beatdown, I don't think I'd pull over for any moto-thug types no matter what they flashed.

Anyone catch that Lohte referred, in the mayoral debate, to a law or potential law that more than 6 bikes would need a permit to ride together? Not that I ride in large groups typically but does that mean the citibeemers need to split into groups going in different directions?

To be honest, if this is an official NYPD program, on duty plainclothes cops on sportsbikes in response to that incident, I think it's pretty cool.

They just need to figure out a standardized way to ID themselves to the public.

While it's generally a uniformed officer, though not always, we do stop for unmarked cars.

Lights and siren on a stunta' bike?

I'm less concerned with who's mayor and more concerned about stupid legislation

They have this in Wisconsin. Fully lighted/sirened BMW S1000RR. Good luck getting away from that.

Ohio State Police use Hayabusas' I've seen some crotch rockers on the 405 in LA, amongst the RTPs, F650GSs and a few Harleys.

License and registration, takes a walk around your bike, 4 times, looking at it as if it were a jig saw puzzle he did not know how to put together. Returns paperwork and speeds off.

License and reg were not radio'd in.
Just curious, what bike were you on?

Wasn't me, happened to a friend. He was on an NC700x, with hard bags and a trunk, wearing a 1 piece stich. This was also at 8 am on his way into work.

Don't they know punks and thugs don't wake up till 3?
