Gotta wait for it to warm up a bit... why suffer? ![]() So JJane is going out of town... Ah, right... the kid and critters need tending, so you're stuck. I'm still in for a Del water gap ride the weekend of the 24-25th... either day. The following weekend is the rally in narrowsburg which I may ride out to see, weather pending. Maybe even shake out the camping gear and spend the night.

You're not the only one!
I got the KLR out on Saturday. Started rightup (after I turned the fuel on) Oil and filter change. A couple hundred miles on Sunday to burn the old Seafoam gas out. I've been commuting since then. Might get rained on tonight, damn. Let's all ride soon! Quote:

Another JL report
Just picked up my nighthawk from Jay's place. Seems like they did a good job. He said the back wheel basically fell apart when they took it off to check the bearings and they stayed in the shop til 2:00am working on the bike.
As we discussed on Friday, the place might not be perfect, but it's about the best we have in this city full of mooks. As with my last bike, it rides much better now that he's worked on it. I just don't get the impression that any of what was done or said in doing business with Jay was for "show". Sure, he schmoozes a bit, but what good business owner doesn't? - Rob |

Spring?
If any of you KLR riders are looking, I have an unused Progressive 500/560 rear spring needing a home. It would be great if someone on this list could use it. Have some other KLR goodies as well, just send me a PM if interested.

Hmm, is that a car driving on the sidewalk? Is that even a sidewalk? I can't picture that area. That's not NYC

That "could" be dumbo, but it's not. Anyone here planning on riding down to Florida? I'll be riding down on the 29th for passover\spring break, mostly spring break. Anyone happen to have a 1.25g Kolpin fuel cell I can borrow? Also if anyone happens to be a licensed mechanic and wants to check my bike out to ok it as safe before my trip for a 6 pack don't hesitate to send me an e-mail. :)
PS I'll be posting this again in the regional section |
