actually, this is a night club/discotheque rather than a restaurant/pub. good for those found of eastern female physiognomies, though. no specifically ethnic food there nor sophisticated food in general.

Free for the locals:

Stock trailwings from a '06 F650GS (not Dakar), with ~1500 miles on them, free to a good home. I'm trying to free up some space in the storage cage in the basement. PM me to arrange to come and pick them up. Manhattan.

Where in Brooklyn? The Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel is my preferred route as it's very convenient for me to get onto the Prospect Expressway and then 278 from my house, and it puts you right on the West Side Highway which gives you easy access to the west village.

roughly how long does it take?

on the map it looks circuitous. does it flow or is it stop-n-go 24/7?

The BBT is off the Hamilton Avenue exit of the BQE, which can be somewhat of a pain to get to from your general location. It's more convenient to the Park Slope/Windsor Terrace/Sunset Park/southwest Brooklyn folks. You would have to pass up the Manhattan Bridge and the Brooklyn Bridge to get there, which might not be worthwhile.

If you must cross on the east side, rather than going crosstown on Canal or Chambers, I've had good luck going south on the FDR and just following it around the tip of lower Manhattan until it becomes the west side highway. Yeah it's longer but it usually moves very well.

The BBT usually moves great. There is a toll, but for motorcycles I think it's only $1.75. The approach on Hamilton Ave. can sometimes back up during rush hour but the tunnel itself is usually good to go, I rarely run into any traffic through there.

Edit: just looked up your location on google maps -- yeah the BBT may not be the way to go for you. It's pretty far out of the way for you to get to it.
